Please take a look at the enclosed brochure. It describes the Association’s history, objectives, and membership. Also enclosed is our newsletter outlining past, current, and future news within the Association. The IANRC has 27 states, 8 Canadian provinces, 3 Honorary Members, and 5 Associate Members in the organization, and we are pleased to welcome the state of Pennsylvania as a new member and Turn-in Poachers, Inc. from Minnesota as a new associate member. I urge each of you to give careful consideration to becoming a member or renewing your membership. A 2008 dues statement and membership application form is enclosed. Please return your dues and application form to me at the above address by no later than April 1, 2008. The Association’s annual conference will be held at the Inn on the Park in Madison, Wisconsin June 15 - 17, 2008. Room cost is $89 single/$109 double per night. Please review the enclosed conference information from President Ann Bauer and note the deadline to register for the conference on the registration form. Conference registration fees are sent directly to the hosting state and not to me. To enhance our network of participating states and provinces, the IANRC may provide sponsorship for one delegate from each of the five IANRC regions. In order for a delegate to be eligible, they must pay their annual membership dues, and inform their Regional Director that they did not receive travel approval from their respective agencies to attend the Kentucky conference. The Regional Director can then offer the sponsorship of three nights accommodation and the airfare to the nearest airport. The delegate who is chosen is responsible for the conference dues, meals and any other travel costs. For states or provinces that may have travel funding issues, please contact a Regional Director listed on the enclosed Officer Contact sheet. If there is any additional information concerning our Association that I can provide, please do not hesitate to contact me. Candy Henderson(770) 918-6406 candy.henderson@dnr.state.ga.us |
